Information for New Patients
We’re incredibly proud to introduce you to the team at Wylie Family Dentistry! Thank you for choosing us to meet all of your dental needs with compassion and respect. Below, you’ll find information that is pertinent to your first visit, including new patient forms and methods for financing your treatment. If you have questions, please don’t wait to give us a call. We’ll do everything we can to meet any accommodations for you or your family members.
Your First Visit
On the day of your visit, you’ll be met with a warm welcome and any questions you have will be answered. As part of your first visit, we’ll schedule you for a hygienic appointment, capture x-rays, and have pictures taken using our intraoral camera. Then, Dr. Morton will perform a comprehensive exam and recommend treatments if necessary. Finally, we’ll discuss your insurance coverage and payment options available to you.
New Patient Forms
Part of filling out patient forms is not just about learning when your last dental visit was. They also keep our dental office informed on your current health, whether it’s oral or systemic. For example, we ask about pre-meds, which can affect the initial visit. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to fill up the appropriate paperwork. Once you’ve completed your new patient form, hand them to our front desk and we’ll get you seen as soon as possible for your exam, x-rays and hygienic cleaning.
Dental Insurance Accepted
When you have dental insurance, getting your routine appointments completed is easier and cheaper overall. Our dental office is in-network with most major PPO dental insurance plans. When you come to the dental office, we’ll make sure to verify your insurance and let you know what type of coverage you can expect. As a largely in-network dentist and team focused on quality treatments and customer satisfaction, we believe that your expectations will be more than met; they’ll be exceeded. We are currently in-network with the following dental plans:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas PPO
- Dental Network of America PPO
- Aetna PPO
- Delta Premiere
- United Concordia Elite
Financing Available
Even if you don’t have dental insurance, that doesn’t mean you can’t still get the care you need. Our dental office partners with third-party financing companies like CareCredit, which make paying for both medical and dental treatments more manageable. In many cases, you can avoid little to zero interest attached to your payments!
